Google To Train 100,000 Nigerians And 10 Million Africans in Online Skill- CEO

Am sure when you hear google i bet you already know what we are talking about.

In which google is an american multinational technology which mainly specializes on internet related related services and product which started as a research project by Larry Page and Sergey Brin Ph.D which are students of Stanford University.Google for Nigeria" in lagos on 27,07,2017.
Google's CEO Sunday Pichai speaks during an interview with Nigeria journalist Adesuwa Onyenokwe during a conference with the tag "

Google plans to train 10 million people based in Africa about online skills for the next 5 years in order to develop their skills and make them more employable, Says the chief executive on Thursday.

The American based technology giants also hopes to train 100,000 software developers in Kenya, South Africa and Nigeria, says a company spokeswoman.

Google's pledge marked an expansion of an initiative it launched in April 2016 to train young Africans in digital skills. It announced in March it had reached its initial target of training one million people. The company is "committing to prepare another 10 million people for jobs of the future in the next five years," Google Chief Executive Sundar Pichai told a company conference in Nigeria's commercial capital of Lagos. Google said it will offer a combination of in-person and online training. Google has said on its blog that it carries out the training in languages including Swahili, Hausa and Zulu and tries to ensure that at least 40 percent of people trained are women. It did not say how much the program cost.
Africa, with its rapid population growth, falling data costs and heavy adoption of mobile phones, having largely leapfrogged personal computer use, is tempting for tech companies. Executives such as Alibaba Group Holding Ltd's chairman Jack Ma have also recently toured parts of the continent. But countries like Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa, which Google said it would initially target for its mobile developer training, may not offer as much opportunity as the likes of China and India for tech firms.

Yawning wealth gaps mean that much of the population in places like Nigeria has little disposable income, while mobile adoption tends to favor more basic phone models. Combined with bad telecommunications infrastructure, that can mean slower and less internet surfing, which tech firms rely on to make money. Google also announced plans to provide more than $3 million in equity-free funding, mentorship and working space access to more than 60 African start-ups over three years. In addition, YouTube will roll out a new app, YouTube Go, aimed at improving video streaming over slow networks, said Johanna Wright, vice president of YouTube. YouTube Go is being tested in Nigeria as of June, and the trial version of the app will be offered globally later this year, she said.

With this awesome plan coming to reality, It would bring a great change not only in the technological sector of Nigeria and others places as technology is taking the old and outdated ways in which things are done. What do you think about this great improving opportunity for Nigeria?. Kindly say your view by dropping your comment.

How To Drop Your Comment On Our Blog

Many times readers on this blog always complain on the search box and say its having issue or it's not just active. So i took a good look and decided to make this post. Hopefully this post would solve the issue and where the problem accompanying commenting would be treated and we really appreciate those who have been dropping their comments which in one way or the other has been encouraging me to write and get better stuffs for you guys.
The possible problems which i feel could be the cause of issue in commenting can be the following.

  • Using old and outdated browsers.
  • Not waiting for the page to load fully.
  • Issue with signing into your gmail account.
So on this post i would be showing how comments should be made in which i believe should give issues when trying to drop your comment on the blog.
Normally when you reach the base of the post you would see the comment box and under the box you see commenting as. When you login frequently to your gmail account. It would be the name you registered for your gmail would appear.

When you click on the button under the commenting as it would show this. If you have a LiveJournal you can tick livejournal instead and the same works for the other except the Anonymous which you only make use when you want to leave a comment without any profile. But, when you own a blog and you want to leave a backlink in which your blog would be crawled alongside with mine and also improve how well your contents appear on google

Here is a perfect example of a comment with a back link along side with the profile.

With the following explanations i hope you fully understand how the comment works and i believe no one should be having issues leaving comments.

See The Reason For WhatsApp Worldwide Sudden Shutdown

See The Reason For WhatsApp Worldwide Sudden Breakdown

WhatsApp, popular instant messaging application with over 1 billion active users was unable to connect worldwide for about 1 hour and these had led WhatsApp users to freak out concerning the issue by taken to social media to vent their frustration for the sudden breakdown.

Meanwhile, this is not the first time the app has run into this trouble - there was also a major outage on New Year's Eve in 2015.

WhatsApp is unlike other applications that gives prior notice or alert users on any forthcoming technical issue. This sudden breakdown happened around 9PM tonight.

The main reason for this sudden issue was later brought to WhatsApp as "a breakdown in connection". This was the message below;

"Our service is experiencing a problem right now. We are working on it and hope to restore the functionality shortly. Sorry for the inconvenience!"

See 7 Signs That Will Happen Your Smartphone Has a Virus

Virus comes in different ways and the next thing to do is to flash that phone, or do factory reset of that phone. here now we will be giving a tutorial on what you will see if you phone has contact a virus or not.

So continue reading

See 7  Signs That Will Happen Your Smartphone Has a Virus

Increased mobile phone charges
You did not subscribe to anything from your service provider but your phone credit is being deducted almost every second. In fact, you called them to complain but they are unaware of such deductions. This means a malicious app is removing your credit to make fake phone calls and send text messages.
Slowdown in performance
We tend to pay more attention to our computer than our phone. Your phone is a mini computer. So, when you notice an unusual slowdown in its function, it may be a sign of a virus infection.
Your phone contacts receive weird text messages
If your contacts call you to talk about a message you did not send, it means a malware has infected your phone. It is attempting to infect your contact's phone by sending spam texts. You should scan your phone if this happens.
Unusual data consumption
For a malicious application to function perfectly, it needs internet. If your phone is connected, the virus will run uninterrupted. Clearly, the virus is using your data. So, if you notice a weird spike in data usage, it may be a virus. Switch off your data and search for the app consuming the highest amount of data.
Significant drop in battery life
Not all battery drains mean the battery is bad or it is time to replace it. It may be that some malicious app is using your battery for certain illegal activities.
New applications
You never downloaded an app but you notice it on your phone. You must have mistakenly clicked a link to automatically download the app. In some cases, you do not need to open the app before the virus infects your phone. You should delete it. In serious situations, you have to format your phone.
Undesirable adverts
Every time you click a link, an annoying advert pops up or your page is flooded with different adverts, it shows that your phone has a malware or virus.
That is all

The Long awaited dream league 17 vs FIFA

Game review: Dream League Soccer 2017 can’t match FIFA

Dream League Soccer 2017 is one of the best offline football games you can play on Android and iOS right now
Dream League Soccer 2017 is one of the best offline football games you can play on Android and iOS right now
Developed by US-based game developer First Touch, the game follows the same Ultimate Team format that EA Sports’ FIFA games follow. You don’t get to play as an existing team, but build your own team from scratch, hire new players and compete in football leagues.
You can also customise your team, change team kit, players’ boot colour, team logo and even the team name

Modest graphics

Dream League Soccer 2017 is a modest looking game and if you have played the FIFA 16, you feel a bit disappointed with the graphics. The players’ faces do not look anything like their real-life counterparts. Unlike FIFA 16, you don’t get to play at different international stadiums, but at a custom made stadium developed by you.

However, if you are not very particular about these finer details, you are not missing much. The fact that you can play with real player names and against teams feels a lot more realistic than playing any of the football simulation games outside of the FIFA and PES series. You can also change the duration and play matches of up to 10 minutes. In FIFA games, matches have a fixed duration of six minutes. You can also customise your team, change team kit, players’ boot colour, team logo and even the team  name

The game’s biggest attraction is that it doesn’t ask for active internet connection except when you are playing in the Dream League Online league, or accessing the coins market
Challenging gameplay

The game offers multiple camera modes and auto replay options, but misses on the most popular broadcast camera mode. The on-screen controls are big and feel quite intuitive. The game’s biggest attraction is that it doesn’t ask for active internet connection except when you are playing in the Dream League Online league, or accessing the coins market. Even the transfer window, where you can buy new players, works offline. The coins market is where you can buy more coins with real money to speed up things. The tournament options are limited.

Verdict

Dream League Soccer 2017 is perfect for casual football gamers. That it works offline, takes up just 326MB after installation and doesn’t require high-end specs to work smoothly makes it stand out in the crowd.
