Etisalat to leave Nigeria in 3weeks

Etisalat is one of the best networks that ever functioned in nigeria which thet have been great help in times of free airtime, data and even leaves space for those who knows about cheats to also get a cut from them. i dont know if that is legal but i guess its not and the saddest part of it is that they have been given just 3weeks to exit Nigeria meaning their networks would stop being available for users to enjoy.

The Abu Dhabi-owned telecom networks took the decsion after its $1.7million loan deal crashed.

The chief executive of Etisalat International said on monday that there wont be any need for the brand in Nigeria after the loan deal crashed. Meanwhile, Nigeria regulators came into action last week to renegotiate a $1.2 billion fails.

Though, Etisalat nigeria in a statement issued three weeks ago, claimed to have repaid 42 % of the loan.
Etisalat international, therefore made it known on monday that it was pulling out as well as UAE(United Arab Emirates) Shareholders of the company have exited and exit the board and management of the nigeria arm.

The chief executive of etisalat Howard Dowidar, said the discussion was ongoing to provide technical he also added that the brand can ssstill be of use for 3weeks before crashing out.
